Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Profitly collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website and application at profitlyapp.xyz — including subscriptions, trials, billing, and online stores.

1. Who we are

Profitly helps small sellers and micro businesses manage products, orders, customers, sales documents, simple finance, and online stores. By using Profitly, you agree to the privacy practices on this page.

Profitly is not a marketplace and is not a payment intermediary between you and your business customers.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide or that is needed to run Profitly. Data is used only to operate, secure, and improve Profitly — not sold to third parties.

  • Name — account identity and seller profile.
  • Email — authentication, service communication, and important account notices.
  • Business information — business name, seller WhatsApp, logo, store slug, payment instructions, and operational settings.
  • Products — names, prices, costs, stock, photos, and catalog data you store.
  • Customers — names, contacts, shipping address/notes, and interaction history you record.
  • Leads — prospects, follow-up status, and sales notes.
  • Orders — purchase orders, status, shipping, payment proof, and fulfillment activity.
  • Invoices — invoices, quotations, pre-orders, and other sales documents.
  • Storefront data — public store content, theme, template, reviews, and display settings.
  • Subscription data — plan (Free/Pro), trial or subscription status, billing history, and feature limits.
  • Optional integrations — e.g. Telegram chat ID if you connect order notifications.
  • Technical data — server logs, device/browser type, and activity needed for security and stability.

3. How we use data

Your data is processed solely to run Profitly features you use.

  • Provide and operate Profitly (products, orders, reports, online store, billing).
  • Sync data across devices through your cloud account.
  • Display your public store, tracking pages, and documents per your settings.
  • Manage trials, subscriptions, plan limits, and Profitly payment history.
  • Send notifications you enable (e.g. Telegram for new orders).
  • Improve security, prevent abuse, and improve service performance.
  • Generate reports, CSV exports, and business summaries you request.

4. Your customers' data

As a seller, you may store customer data in Profitly. You are responsible for lawful collection and your own privacy practices toward customers.

Profitly processes customer data on your behalf to run orders, invoices, online stores, and tracking pages.

5. Profitly subscription payment data

Profitly offers a paid subscription (Pro plan) for advanced features.

Subscription payments are processed through official payment gateways integrated with Profitly (e.g. Midtrans).

Profitly does not store your credit card data or sensitive payment details. Payment data is processed directly by the authorized payment provider.

We may store subscription transaction metadata — payment status, amount, billing period, invoice references — for billing, support, and audit.

6. Seller customer payments

Important: Profitly is not a marketplace, not escrow, and does not receive payments from your business customers.

All payments between you and your customers go directly to you, using methods you configure, such as:

  • Bank transfer — account and instructions you provide.
  • QRIS — your QRIS code or instructions.
  • Seller payment gateway — if you enable your own gateway integration (e.g. seller Midtrans).
  • Other manual methods — per your business policy.

7. Free trial

New users may get a 14-day Pro free trial once per account, with no credit card required.

After the trial ends, your account returns to the Free plan if you do not subscribe to Pro.

Your business data is not deleted when the trial ends. Certain features may be limited under the Free plan.

8. Data retention

Your data remains stored even if your trial ends, subscription is cancelled, or your account returns to Free.

Profitly does not delete your business data solely because of a plan downgrade. Some features may be limited by your active plan (e.g. product count on Free).

Data is deleted or anonymized after you request account deletion, unless longer retention is required by law.

9. Sensitive tax data

Some highly sensitive tax identity data may be processed on your device or exported as CSV rather than permanently stored on our servers in all cases.

You remain responsible for the accuracy of tax data you enter or export from Profitly.

10. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by service providers such as cloud hosting/database (Supabase), authentication, file storage, subscription payment gateways, analytics, and Telegram (if connected).

Your public store pages can be accessed by anyone with the link. Product names, prices, and descriptions you display are public per your settings.

11. Cookies and analytics

Profitly uses cookies or local storage for:

  • Login and session — keeping you signed in securely.
  • Language — storing your app language preference.
  • UI preferences — light/dark theme and display settings.

12. Analytics

We use analytics to understand which features help sellers most, detect errors, and maintain app performance.

Analytics data is not used to sell user data to third parties.

13. Security

We apply reasonable security practices, including:

  • All communication with Profitly uses HTTPS.
  • Payment gateway credentials and sensitive data are encrypted at rest.
  • Account passwords are not stored in plaintext — authentication uses secure mechanisms.

14. Your rights

You may:

  • Update profile, business, and most operational data in Settings.
  • Delete your account by contacting us — we process requests within a reasonable time.
  • Download data — e.g. via CSV export where available.
  • Contact support at hello@profitlyapp.xyz for privacy questions or data requests.
  • Disconnect optional integrations such as Telegram anytime in the app.

15. Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is published on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
